Founded by Caroline Sebastian, we saw a gap in the market for quality digital marketing services tailored to small businesses in NYC’s hospitality industry.

Today, we’re proud to have helped bars, restaurants, cafes, and more amplify their brands and connect with customers through impactful digital strategies all over New York.

Meet The Team

Caroline SebastianThe Founder.

Originally from Buffalo, NY, Caroline Sebastian launched Sebastian Media with a simple idea: to help independent hospitality owners build real connections through powerful digital storytelling.

A graduate of Marist College, Caroline started her journey in digital marketing over 8 years ago by throwing events at a local bar in her college town. What began as grassroots community-building quickly evolved into full-service media work for businesses across Poughkeepsie, NY.

After moving to New York City, she honed her focus on hospitality, working with bars, restaurants, and small groups that shape the cultural fabric of the city. Caroline’s mission has always been clear: support the people creating authentic spaces for real New Yorkers—not corporate giants, but the neighborhood teams building something meaningful from the ground up.

Katie Head of Content

Katie is originally from Cape May, NJ, and studied Theater Performance at Hofstra University.

While there, she served as Head of PR for the Drama & Dance Department, overseeing a student team and managing the department’s social media. Her role evolved into an internship focused on editing student and faculty bios for production programs.
Today, Katie is Head of Content at Sebastian Media, where she leads social media and organic engagement strategy. She specializes in creating and executing content that builds brand awareness across all platforms.
